Volunteer to support our youth and children’s work services, committing to a specific club every week during that term. It’s fun and you can choose which age group you would like to work with.

Who can volunteer?
We would love to hear from volunteers who:
- Really enjoy being with children and young people
- Are reliable, enthusiastic and committed
- Are open minded, non judgmental and respectful
- Have a sense of humour and are open to trying new things
- Are able to commit to 3 hours a week of volunteering time
Working in our youth clubs is really fun and you can choose which age group you would like to work with.
We currently have volunteering opportunities in all our youth clubs as well as in our employability cafe, young mums group and intergenerational work.

Many of our clubs and group require you to register first before attending as some, particularly our under 12s group have waiting lists to join. No, we do not charge for your child to attend our clubs.
We run clubs for children and young people from 6 yrs old up to 21.
The Citadel’s opening times will vary between term time and school holidays.

Tuesday 9.00am - 7.00pm
Wednesday 9.00am - 7.30pm
Thursday 9.00am-7.30pm
Friday 9.00am - 7.00pm
