Who Can Get Support?

At Citadel we’re all a big family. But there are some criteria to join our family as a family. You’re either:

  • young mums up to the age of 21,
  • families who have children aged 5 upwards in Leith
  • carers who have children aged 5 upwards in Leith and their families, working in schools, Citadel and in-home.

Family support is delivered in a variety of different ways:

  • 1:1 support
  • peer support through a parent drop in or group family sessions
  • family learning
  • children’s 1:1 and group work sessions

The topics covered in family support can include housing advice, routines and structure for children, advice and information for parents with children with additional support needs.
