FAMILY WORKER (Leith Primary School) 
ANNUAL SALARY: £32,154-£35,316 pro rata 
3 days (21 hours) /week (£18,888-£20,745) –Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Fixed term until 30th June 2026 with potential extension dependent on funding 
Responsible to:- Deputy Manager, Citadel Youth Centre 
OVERVIEW
The Citadel has a long history of strong relationships with families in the Leith community. This includes our Families Project, which provides a range of services to parents/carers of children attending the Citadel, including a weekly Parents Drop In and regular Family Days, as well as school based family support services in three local primary schools. 
The post holder will be based two days per week in Leith Primary School, where they will offer a range of services for parents/carers, including 1:1 support, themed workshops and family learning. They will be based one day per week at the Citadel, where they will work alongside Families Project colleagues, including co-facilitating the Parents Drop In. This post is being funded through the Strategic Equity Fund for an initial period to the end of the school year with a strong possibility of continuation funding for the following school year.
